Wishlist #1 - a wishy washy wish

Santa, in case you read this, I want something like this. I promise I'll be nice next year.

Can someone please tell me where they sell this in case Santa doesn't see this post.

Dear Santa

Last night, someone sent a letter to Santa. The letter, however, was posted on the yahoogroup that both of us are members. Hmm. Here goes his letter to dear old Santa -

... in fact, we even said yes to home renos and/or buying new homes. And, in case your elves are unable to assemble enough solid state and tripath power amplifiers and pre-pros to go around, may we suggest that you outsource some of the work to these companies: Emotiva, Virtue Audio, and HTD.Emotiva even has the holiday sale on now! I promise that I'll leave milk and cookies (or Stella Artois if you prefer) by the fireplace. After I install the gifts, we can watch blu-ray versions of your old movies like this one and listen to some kick ass music (sorry, my thesaurus is not working and I don't have other adjectives at the moment).
Thank you.
Dad #1,234,567,890 (or if you're reviewing the Dad Rankings 2008, Dad #3)
P.S. Here's what I would need immediately:
Two UPA-7s (which I'll share with my little boy for his Xbox 360) and one UMC-1 to replace my 7-year old receiver
Apparently Santa gets alerted whenever an email is sent to him even if it's not sent to his H0H 0H0 address. Husband #1,234,567,890 got Santa's reply instantly.

Dear Dad #1,234,567,890,
Seeing that you've been quite nice this year, I will instruct my elves to contact any of the recommended companies you've specified instead of letting them assemble your desired toys as I am not too sure they (my side-kicks) are tech savvy.

I'll take a raincheck on the milk and cookies (or the Stella Artois). I will, however, be very happy if you can take care of having that wall ovens installed in that lady's house. She has been pestering me with those wall ovens which baffles me because, really, how many ovens can you possibly have in one kitchen. I think she's been watching too much of those HGTV shows. She hasn't been really nice this year but seeing how generous she's been to her husband (imagine her agreeing to have her husband have the 100% say on the smart wiring of their upcoming new home), I think she deserves those wall ovens she dreams of.

Yours,
Santa-Santita

PS - I like it that you plan to share your new toys with your little boy although I heard the boy is not so little anymore.

Looks like it's going to be a merry Christmas!

Saying Good-Bye

... one room at a time.

089 pknk ps1

We are slowly prepping our present home so we can put it up for sale early Spring, next year. It's not an easy task. But I feel proud we don't have to do a lot of work. The house is in tip top condition. Just a few paint touch-ups here and there and I think this one is ready for its new homeowners.

Earth Colours

... are our faves.

family room

Last week, while the 3 of us watched a movie in our family room, our son asked if we are keeping the same colour scheme we have now for our next home. He said he likes it the way it is. I am not sure if he's just talking about the family room or the entire house. While MDH and I are excited about the new house, MDS still doesn't want to leave our present home. I hope MDS will eventually share the excitement.

I will, of course, keep this colour scheme. It's a fave all three of us share.

It's Coming Along

So yeah, I've been a happy camper.

And loving every concrete corner I see.

Now if only our designer will get back to us with updates on the change that we (more like I :)) want for our staircase, I'll be an extra-happy camper for this week. I'm not sure about the hubs because that would mean extra moolah taken out from his pocket.
